1 Testing to API 22.2 confirms V-Cone
performance
2 Space
Saver: Needs only 0-3 diameters
upstream, 0-1 downstream
3 Rugged no-moving parts technology
requires virtually no maintenance
4 Built-in flow conditioning for
high accuracy
up to ±0.5%
of flow rate
The space saver flow
meter solution
In
crowded FPSO environments, the compact V-Cone’s
no-moving parts design provides built-in flow conditioning, which
nearly eliminates the upstream / downstream pipe runs required by
nearly all other flow meter technologies. The V-Cone reduces flow
meter straight pipe runs by up to 70 percent or more and needs only
0-3 straight pipe diameters upstream and 0-1 downstream to operate
effectively. The V-Cone operates a wide 10:1 flow range and supports
line sizes from 0.5 to 120 inches.

McCrometer’s
V-Cone
Wet Gas Flow Meter is ideal for the Sub-Sea Production environment.
It relies on advanced differential pressure flow technology designed
with built-in flow conditioning to achieve an accuracy of ±0.5%,
with a repeatability of ±0.1%. It operates over a flow range of 10:1,
and comes in line sizes from 0.5 to 120 inches. It can be installed
virtually anywhere in a piping system or be easily retrofit into an
existing piping layout where flow measurement is needed.

Testing
of the V-Cone Flow Meter now conforms with API 22.2. This rugged flow
meter features a no-moving parts design that requires almost no recalibration
or service, offering years of service. Unlike traditional DP instruments such
as orifice plates and venturi tubes, the V-Cone’s design is inherently
more accurate because the flow conditioning function is built-into the basic
instrument.
