McCrometer Appoints New Regional Sales Manager For Middle East and Opens Office In Dubai Jebel Ali Free Zone

McCrometer is pleased to announce the appointment of Kal Moufid as the company’s new Regional Sales Manager - Industrial. Moufid will oversee both the sales and servicing of flow meter solutions for McCrometer’s expanding customer community in the Middle East and Africa.
His new offices will be located in the Dubai Jebel Ali Free Zone, and he reports to Tom Swihart, McCrometer’s Director of Industrial Sales -- Worldwide.

“We are excited to bring Moufid onboard in Dubai. He’s an established sales and senior applications engineer with deep flow instrumentation experience in the Process and Oil & Gas markets. Moufid developed his process control engineering and sales expertise and relationships at Dezurik, Masoneilan/Dresser and similar companies, which makes him a valuable addition to our Middle East customer and partner support team,” said Swihart.

Moufid is a native of Egypt, speaks fluent Arabic and brings 24 years of deep experience in helping flow instrumentation customers select the best solutions. He ran his own business in the U.S. as a manufacturing rep for engineered capital process control products for six years, served as a Sales Engineer at Masoneilan/Dresser in Saudi Arabia and worked for Bechtel in Cairo. Additionally, Moufid was a Senior Applications Engineer at Dezurik for their process control valve manufacturing division. He attended Northeastern University in Boston and holds a BET Mechanical Engineering degree.
