The accurate and reliable Model ML04 Water Specialties Propeller Flow Meter™ from McCrometer is available with an optional transmitter that provides a 4-20 mA output, which indicates either flow rate or totalized flow volume in support of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems.

The highly reliable, yet simple to use Water Specialties Model ML04 Flow Meter is a steel flanged-end tube meter with indicator-totalizer. It features measurement accuracy of ±2 percent, measures liquid flow from 40 to 35,000 GPM depending on line size. The ML04 is suitable for service in line sizes from 2 to 48 inches and is designed for temperatures up to 140°F.

The ML04’s indicator-totalizer register delivers instantaneous data providing flow rate indication and totalization of flow volume. It is designed with a 4-inch display with 250-degree dial, six-digit totalizer and test sweep hand. This register can be specified for GPM, CFS, MGD or any standard unit of liquid measurement. An optional 4-20 mA and/or pulse output is available that supports SCADA systems, accommodating advanced data collection and control capabilities.

The Water Specialties ML04 Propeller Meter has earned a reputation for accuracy, durability and effective performance. The rugged construction features injection molded plastic bonnets and a hinged lid with padlock hasp to prevent unauthorized entry. Fabricated steel meter tubes with straightening vanes and fabricated steel meter heads are coated inside and out with NSF approved fusion-bonded epoxy.

The Water Specialties series of propeller meters are constructed using precision techniques and high grade materials. Long-life ceramic dual thrust bearings handle both forward and reverse direction flow. A cast bronze gearbox offers a removable one-piece stainless steel separator/spindle. O-ring seals are used at the meter head and all other points where seals are required.

Water Specialties Propeller Flow Meters can be installed vertically, horizontally or inclined. The Water Specialties Model ML04 Propeller Flow Meter is an ideal choice for measuring clean water flows in multiple types of municipal and industrial applications. Meter materials and performance meet or exceed AWWA standard C704-08.
