Service and Support:
• The Dura Mag has an estimated life of 10 years, and requires no regular maintenance other than replacing the battery pack.
• Batteries are covered under warranty for 3 years, and are expected to last 5 years.
• When you need replacement batteries, place an order for a replacement battery pack ($55) .
• The batteries come with an information sheet (also available online at mccrometer.com) that walks you through step by step to remove and reinstall the batteries. There is also a video on youtube for your convenience. The process should take no more than 10 minutes.
