McCrometer, Inc. Supports Midwest Flood Relief Efforts

Hemet, CA — April 26th, 2019 – The employees at McCrometer, a Southern California-based flow measurement solutions provider, recently completed a company-wide effort to collect much needed supplies for the families impacted by the recent flooding throughout the Midwest.

Nebraska, Iowa, and Wisconsin are all under states of emergency due to this unprecedented weather event, and those impacted have only just begun the long road to recovery.

“Weather conditions have significantly affected the region, much of which is farmland,” reports Rob Collier, McCrometer President. “Our partners are experiencing it, our farmers are suffering, and we as an organization wanted to do our part in supporting them through these tough times.”

McCrometer employees donated toiletries, cleaning supplies, bedding, non-perishable food, baby items, and more per suggested donation lists provided by the United Way.

“We know that sending the wrong items to the relief organizations can prolong their efforts,” Collier notes. “We chose to partner with a non-profit as reputable as the United Way to ensure that our support reaches the individuals in the Midwest who need it most.”

In addition to the physical supplies brought in by McCrometer associates, the company itself made a sizable donation to the Nebraska Farm Bureau, a grassroots farm organization whose non-profit efforts directly support more than 61,000 agriculture families. The non-profit’s Disaster Relief Fund ensures that 100% of donated funds go directly to farmers, ranchers, and rural communities affected by the recent flooding.

“The associates have rallied together to participate in relief efforts,” says Aimee Davis, Product Manager and longtime McCrometer employee. “We’re always looking for ways to support the communities we serve, and we truly hope this makes a difference.”

McCrometer encourages interested individuals and organizations to donate to United Way locations throughout the Midwest and the Nebraska Farm Bureau to aid in their relief efforts.
