The MRP is a budget-friendly service that prolongs the life of your meter investment, refurbishing, repairing, and replacing components and returning a like-new measurement device to benefit your flow application.

Meter Repair Program Overview
McPropeller
This package includes the full repair of bearings, propeller, drive cable, register, gaskets, O rings, paint touch-ups. Upgrades available include mechanical register to digital. Applicable to special configurations, including digital, sensor replacement, cables. Each meter undergoes a 3-point flow test and recalibration and comes with a 1-year full meter warranty.
Water Specialties
This package includes the full repair of bearings, propeller, register, gaskets, O rings, paint touch-ups. Upgrades available include mechanical register to digital. Applicable to special configurations, including digital, sensor replacement, cables. Each meter undergoes a 3-point flow test and recalibration and comes with a 1-year full meter warranty.
FPI Mag
This package includes partial repair of electronics, cables, and paint, and a full product cleaning. Each meter undergoes a 3-point flow test and recalibration and comes with a 1-year full meter warranty. Not included: repair or replacement of coil tree and meter body.
Ultra Mag
This package includes partial repair of electronics, cables, and paint, and a full product cleaning. Each meter undergoes a 3-point flow test and recalibration and comes with a 1-year full meter warranty. Not included: repair or replacement sensor tube.

What are the main benefits of the MRP?
Customers receive a like-new flow meter when they sign up for the Meter Repair Plan. Not only is each meter thoroughly inspected to pinpoint necessary repairs, part replacement, and potential upgrades, but the meters are fully rebuilt and undergo a 3-point flow test and calibration. Documentation of such, as well as a 1-year full meter warranty, are provided to the customer upon completion. The MRP is a new meter without the new meter price tag, protecting your flow meter investment while giving you peace of mind that your measurement device is is pristine operating condition.
What flow meters are covered under the MRP?
Historically, the only flow meters eligible for the MRP were the McPropeller and Water Specialties propeller meters. As of Spring 2024, McCrometer has added the FPI Mag and the Ultra Mag electromagnetic flow meters to the list of MRP-eligible products.
