The FlowCom with SmartTrax ™ OnBoard is the flow monitoring electronics with integrated telemetry for streamlined data recording and transmission in agriculture applications. The battery-powered electronics unit is the reporting input and output control device for McCrometer’s McPropeller and Water Specialties propeller meters. In addition to fully user-configurable features, rugged IP67 enclosure, and total control of sensor and data recording, the FlowCom offers integrated telemetry courtesy of SmartTrax™ OnBoard.
SmartTrax allows users to receive real-time flow data remotely for convenient decision making. SmartTrax helps farmers stay compliant with water mandates and reporting requirements while also providing important irrigation information needed to manage farm operations.

Telemetry flow data can then be exported or integrated into a user’s management software platform of choice. Data collection through API instructions is available on the SmartTrax website. The SmartTrax website displays a variety of information including flow rate, totalizer, battery life, and any error codes that may be applicable in the form of user-friendly dashboards with actionable data that allow farmers to make daily decisions about their irrigation.
