The unique combination of reliability, ease of installation and total cost savings make this flow meter the perfect choice for municipal water and wastewater effluent applications and flow media.
McCrometer’s multi-electrode design and unique operating principle, delivers accuracy unmatched by other insertion meters and rivals the performance of full-bore mag meters.
This next generation of insertion technology makes flow monitoring efforts simple and precise.
The FPI Mag Plus 3000 provides an astonishing ±1% accuracy on a battery powered, remote installation meter with AMR/AMI and telemetry ready outputs. When every drop counts look no further than the FPI Mag Plus 3000 for your remote flow monitoring needs.
The FPI Mag Plus 3000 is available in AC/DC with battery backup or battery / solar powered options for forward and bi-directional flow sensors, enabling installation in remote applications without access to reliable power. The Smart Output feature allows the FPI Mag Plus to connect to AMI / AMR systems through an encoded digital output. Also the FPI Mag Plus 3000 is prewired for use with our SmartTrax Telemetry system to bring your measurements conveniently to your database.
The insertion design allows for easy, hot tap installation, which allows the meter to be installed without interrupting service, de-watering lines, cutting pipe, welding flanges, or inconveniencing customers. The meter may easily be removed, inspected, and returned to service without the need for a time consuming shut down for regular maintenance procedures.
The FPI Mag Plus 3000 has no moving parts and a single-piece probe design. The multi-electrode water flow sensor contains nothing to wear or break and is generally immune to clogging by sand, grit or other debris.
The sensor body is made from heavy-duty 316 stainless steel for maximum structural integrity and is hermetically sealed and protected by NSF certified 3M fusion-bonded epoxy coating. Electrodes are constructed from either stainless steel or optional Hastelloy to handle all your water flow needs. Our standard epoxy coating is rated up to 140F while our HT (High Temperature) option increases our capabilities to 200F while still maintaining our NSF certification.
